Once you have explored our beautiful campground in Sullivan, Missouri, take advantage of things in the surrounding area! We are a hop, skip, and a jump away from other great attractions in the local area. Meramec is a great location for hiking, biking, canoeing, and exploring mother nature. And, there are many things to do and places to visit in the city and surrounding area.
Throughout Missouri, the “Cave State”, there are approximately 7,500 caves. Meramec Caverns is near us and has a great cave to visit. However, if you are looking for an adventure there are plenty of other caves to explore. Some of the best caves we have found are at Missouri State Parks. Our top four are Onondaga Cave and Cathedral Cave at Onondaga Cave State Park, Fisher Cave at Meramec State Park, and Ozark Caverns at Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Afterwards, you can get out and explore and then return to your Meramec Campground home base to relax.
